Toru Ogasawara: Metroid

Toru Ogasawara's soft, loose touch has won him a loyal following both as an artist and a commercial illustrator, with the perceptive Tokyo native's work appearing in a wide range of advertisements and media over the past few years. This show at Tabata's Wish Less consists of collages, paintings and drawings themed on 'layers of memories' – including ones relating to the 'Metroid' video game, which Ogasawara says he's never actually played.
