Traveling at the Museum! A Trip from Hiroshige's Tokaido to Saeki Yuzo's Paris

'Tis the season for getting out of town, which provides the inspiration for the Yamatane Museum of Art's summer exhibition. The ebulliently titled Traveling at the Museum! takes visitors on a trip from Japan to Paris, New York and the Pyramids, via Utagawa Hiroshige's ukikyo-e prints and work by nihonga and yoga (Western-style) artists including Tsubaki Chinzan, Yokoyama Taikan and Saeki Yuzo. Note that the contents of the exhibition will be rotated at the end of August.
