Time Out says

Drawing from his experiences as a minority, queer artist Torajiro captures melancholic male figures, reflecting feelings of loneliness and anxiety from childhood. His work doesn't offer specific direction on LGBTQ+ issues but emphasises the notion that sexual minorities, much like everybody else, live their everyday lives under the same blue sky. Using the contrast between societal anguish and the comfort of animals' company, the Japanese artist compels viewers to reevaluate societal norms.
