Ville Andersson: An Introduction

A diversely talented contemporary art newcomer hailing from Finland, Ville Andersson was named Young Artist of the Year in his native country in 2015, and now makes his Japan debut with this solo show at Shibuya's Diesel Gallery. Proficient in illustration, photography and painting, Andersson creates simplified but powerful pieces with a palette mainly limited to black, white and gray. His pieces should make for a striking contrast with the gallery's blindingly white walls.
