Known as ‘Yebizo’ for short, this annual event is a fortnight-long bonanza of video art, theatre, film screenings, dance, music talks and symposia. With the Tokyo Photographic Art Museum recently reopened after renovations, the backdrop couldn't be better for this year's edition, subtitled 'Multiple Future'. The theme is reflected in works by the likes of video artist Fiona Tan, whose pieces were last featured here in 2014 and carry a strong social message. Other notable participants include contemporary artist Yasuko Toyoshima, American filmmaker Nancy Kates and Oscar-winning Polish director Zbigniew Rybczyński.
