Known for his dynamic frame layout and surrealistic, often violent imagery, painter-turned-'neo-manga' artist Yuichi Yokoyama is the man behind hit works like 'Travel' and 'Baby Boom'. This show at Nanzuka looks back at paintings from the ’90s, created when Yokoyama was still fresh out of college and looking for work. Most of the pieces are painted on simple boards – 'the cheapest materials I could find', according to the artist.
