Japan's traditional fireworks meet cutting-edge technology at this futuristic hanabi show held near Odaiba's Kaihin Koen. What sets this fireworks spectacle apart from the rest are the various performances and lighting, realised in collaboration with firework experts. And to give things a bit of a sonic bang, the entire area will be covered by a 3D sound system, so you'll pretty much be enveloped by fireworks on the night. The organisers have kindly divided the park into six different areas, including a 'relaxation zone', a child-safe zone and so on. Is this what all firework shows will look like in the future? Only time will tell.
Note that in case of bad weather, the event will be moved to Sunday May 27, 2018
