Time Out says

The luxury cocktail bar at The Four Seasons Otemachi is changing things up with a host of events featuring special guest bartenders. Dubbed the Bar Masters Series, it’s a chance for some of Japan’s best mixologists to show off their creativity – and for you to sample the results.

Every month or so, a different guest bartender will be invited to create special cocktails for Virtù. The drinks can be based on anything from classic cocktails to the ‘it’ flavour of the season. The signature drinks will be available at Virtù for the entire month. Even better, the visiting bartender will also get to do one or more guest shifts behind the Virtù bar, so you can get the exclusive cocktails served by the mixologist who invented them.

The bar master for March is none other than Rogerio Igarashi Vaz, co-owner and head bartender of Ebisu’s Bar Trench. He’s been in Tokyo for 20 years, many of which have been spent building Trench into one of the city’s best bars.

Igarashi Vaz has designed two cocktails for Virtù. There’s the French Impression, a playful clarified milk punch that comes with its own special lollipop, and Le Voyageur Sans Bagage, a heady mix involving gin, mezcal and a splash of absinthe (¥3,000 each). You can catch Igarashi Vaz at Virtù on March 25 from 8pm until close.
