Ten years ago, Shimon was one of the producers fighting back against the ossification of the British drum'n'bass scene – as everybody else seemed to settle into a holding pattern, he went and released 'Body Rock' with Andy C, a triplet-based stormer that was practically unavoidable for the next 12 months. After racking up a series of well-received releases on Ram Records, he started up his own AudioPorn imprint a few years back, which has provided a repository for dubstep as well as more conventionally drum'n'bass tracks. Though where Shimon's concerned, conventional isn't usually an option. His fellow special guest at Womb is Disaszt, the doyen of Austria's d'n'b scene.
