2000: Countdown 2012-2013

It may not have the A-list DJs you'll find at other clubs around Tokyo on New Year's Eve, but Unit won't be charging premium prices for its countdown party either. Punters pay a piddling ¥2,000 on the door (hence the name of the party), and there's a varied lineup of key figures from the local techno, house and bass scenes, including Aoki Takamasa, DJ Wada, Kaoru Inoue, Force of Nature, Altz and Goth-Trad. There's also a sizable hip hop contingent, featuring the likes of Simi Lab, Punpee and Cypress Ueno & Robert Yoshino.
