2012 Liquid

Ebisu's Liquidroom is bringing out the heavy hitters for its New Year's Eve party, with two of the biggest names on the Japanese techno scene: stadium-sized DJ Takkyu Ishino and minimal supremo Fumiya Tanaka. They're joined in the main room by the prolific DJ Nobu, with visuals by the Dommune Video Syndicate. Upstairs in Liquid Loft, meanwhile, Dommune's Naohiro Ukawa is overseeing a mammoth twenty hour session that's bound to become the de facto after party for all the other gigs around town (entry is reduced to ¥2,000 after 5am). The DJ list is too long to quote in full, but includes Yoshinori Sunahara, Moodman, DJ Nori, A. Mochi and heaps of others, plus live music including Luvraw & BTB and Agraph.
