Now there's an optimistic name for a party. Resident DJ Koichi Sato has made a career out of flirting with both the rock and dance scenes, which might explain his choice of special guest for the first edition of new event Alternative House. Moguai is currently signed to Deadmau5's Mau5trap imprint, and his music shares the crossover appeal of the stuff his label master makes, combining distorted electro with tech house and the kind of synthesizer build-ups you'd expect from classic trance. Great to dance to, sure, but alternative? No chance.
