Mauro Picotto was once one of the top trance DJs in the world, but he managed to extract himself from the scene with his reputation (and dignity) still intact. For an indication of how far he's travelled since then, look no further than his headlining appearance at Ageha's monthly Clash party, a straight-up techno bash co-starring local heavyweights Ken Ishii, DJ Nobu and Takuya. Also be sure to swing by the club's Island stage while you're there, to witness the goofball hip hop antics of Afra, Kochitola Haguretic Emcee's and others.
