Decadence*

Gosh, this is a pile-up of influences: it's the 10th anniversary party of the NexusVII street fashion brand, the release party for Uplink's new DVD of films by experimental auteur Kenneth Anger, a-a-and they've got some totally unrelated guy called John Daly playing dubbed-out disco and deeper-than-deep house. Confused? VJ Kimgym will be imposing a smidgeon of thematic coherence by using Anger's work as the basis for his visuals, while the DJs in the upstairs lounge room are drawn from NexusVII's circle of friends, including Dexpistols mainstay Maar.
