'I wanna have a good time and make a party that I would like,' James Murphy told Time Out New York when they caught up with him recently. A year after calling time on his group LCD Soundsystem (whose swansong gig is documented in a new film, Shut Up and Play the Hits), the middle-aged music maven has settled back into a routine of DJ gigs and studio work, including a rather nifty collaboration with Gorillaz and Andre 3000 earlier in the year.
