Time Out says

Dust off your dancing shoes: you're going to need them on Friday night, as Japan's most shameless James Brown imitators team up with a key player from the funk legend's old band. Trombonist Fred Wesley acted as leader of The JB's during the first half of the '70s, appearing on such notable cuts as 'Hot Pants' (which he co-wrote) and 'Doing It to Death', before leaving to join Parliament-Funkadelic in the second half of the decade. Sparks should fly when he shares the stage with homegrown JB devotees Osaka Monaurail at this Hennessy-sponsored party, which also features guitar troubadour Yohei Miyake and percussionist Latyr Sy, plus DJs including Gagle's Mitsu the Beats.
