This April, Kool DJ Red Alert took to the airwaves to play his last ever show on Kiss FM, the radio station that he'd used to ween New Yorkers onto hip hop in the 1980s. Thankfully, it was the radio station that was retiring, rather than Red Alert himself. You can catch the DJ veteran (and for once, we don't use that word lightly) at Sound Museum Vision this weekend, where he'll be busting out the classics alongside fellow 'hip hop freaks' Muro and Hazime.
