House of Liquid

Few electronica albums this year have scored more widespread praise than SBTRKT's eponymous debut, which took the many threads of England's dubstep diaspora and turned them into a brilliant, summer-ready pop album. The mask-wearing producer delivered an impressive set at Fuji Rock Festival in July, sharing a stage with vocalist Sampha and alternating between keyboards, drum pads and live kit – though most of the time he seemed to be playing all of them at once. If you missed that, he's heading to Tokyo to repeat the trick at the latest House of Liquid night, with Matthew Herbert and Moodman doing DJ duties.
