Ignite: The 7th Anniversary

Born in the summer of 2004, Ignite has had to move shop a couple of times since it debuted as a monthly party at the sorely missed Maniac Love in Aoyama. After a lengthy stay at Module, the event moved to Unit last year, which is where it'll be celebrating its 7th birthday this weekend. We're not sure what happened to the party's co-founder, Kazu, but Ignite resident DJ Wada will be doing his thing as per usual, with a guest slot from Ree.K – a DJ who's been active on the scene for almost as long as he has. There'll also be a live show by Autora, Akio Yamamoto and Jun Takayama's electronica project, whose eponymous debut album last year was really rather good.
