One of the hottest sounds on the Tokyo club circuit right now is a Diplo-esque hodgepodge of hip hop, electro, dubstep and whatever other genres they can fit into the blender. Dublectrohop, anyone? We'll leave someone else to coin a name for the genre, but for now you can catch some of its prime practitioners at a new 'alternative' party at Ageha. Dancefloor-slaying duo Dexpistols head the bill in the main room, joined by the likes of drum 'n' bass doyen DJ Aki and Hifana's Keizomachine!, while in the Island area you can look forward to sets from Kochitola Haguretic Emcee's (or the Japanese Beastie Boys, as we like to call them) and Donuts Disco Deluxe, a collab between beatboxer Afra and veteran MCs Ani (of Schadaraparr) and Robochu.
