Low End Theory Japan 2012

If the only thing you know about the LA beatmaker scene is Flying Lotus, it's time to get yourself an education. Named after A Tribe Called Quest's seminal second album, the weekly Low End Theory parties have served as a nexus for California's psychedelic hip hop heads, dubstep producers and glitch merchants since 2006. Residents Daddy Kev, D-Styles, Nobody and Nocando are all on board for the crew's first Japan tour in over a year, which comes on the back of a rather tasty Japan-only Low End Theory compilation. They're joined by party regulars Nosaj Thing and Samiyam, with additional support from local spinners including DJ Jin and Kensei. Pretty darn essential, if you ask us.
