Time Out says

It's been hard not to feel a little bummed out about all the tour cancellations we've seen recently. Life goes on in Tokyo, yet far too many overseas artists and DJs are still giving the place a wide berth. So it was very, very refreshing to hear about this last-minute party, arranged by minimal techno don Richie Hawtin – a regular visitor to these shores – and his Minus posse. Hawtin has written a lengthy statement about 'Minus Hearts Japan' that's worth reading in full, but the gist is simple: donations only go so far. Taking a leaf out of Underworld's book, Richie and pals are heading here to make a very loud show of support, and paying out of their own pockets to do so. The party will feature sets by Troy Pierce, Marc Houle, Ambivalent, Hobo and Hawtin himself, and they'll also be doing their bit to help Tohoku's beleaguered saké producers. With free saké, to boot. Essential.
