Itinerant bilingual rapper Shing02 hooked up with Brooklyn-based 'electronic dub trio' Chimp Beams to record this year's ASDR album, but it's taken them a while to bring the project to Japan. You can catch their first full band performance at Unit this weekend, as part of a night that showcases some of the cream of the domestic alt. hip hop scene. Trackmaker Evisbeats will be taking things on a jazzy tip in his trio with Punch & Mighty, with further sets from well-respected MC Dengaryu and dubby duo Mater & Yony, plus DJs Yakenohara and Budamunk.
