He's a prolific one, is Santos: according to his MySpace profile, the Italian producer has notched up 400-odd releases since he made his debut in 1995, albeit under a variety of different aliases. While it was his brutally effective 2000 track 'Camels' that really made his name, here in Japan he's perhaps best remembered for his Fuji Rock appearance four years later, where he rose to the unenviable task of playing immediately after The Chemical Brothers. More recently, Santos has found a musical soulmate in German techno veteran Timo Maas, producing tracks together as Mutant Clan, as well as starting up their own record label, Rockets & Ponies.
