He was one of the prime movers on the German scene that birthed minimal techno in the 1990s, but while other producers went off down the dub route, Thomas Brinkmann embraced the funk. The man behind Soul Center is the special guest at the latest edition of Sterne, the monthly party organised by local techno overlord Takkyu Ishino and erstwhile wingman Ten.
