Surgeon

Tony 'Surgeon' Child has been on a bit of a roll recently. His contribution to Fabric's mix CD series last year has gone down as one of the finest to date, and he's about to follow it up with his first full-length album in over a decade. While his peers went increasingly minimal during the past decade, Surgeon stuck firmly to a vision of techno that was thumping as hell, but could also find space for elements of noise music, Autechre and – more recently – dubstep. Visuals for the night are provided by Child's wife (and regular co-conspirator) Doris Woo.
