Tokyo Dai-Ouen Kai

They'll be starting in the afternoon and carrying on way into the night at a 'non-stop music relay' charity party at hip Harajuku hangout Montoak this Saturday. Tokyo Dai-Ouen Kai (literally, Tokyo Mega Fundraiser) corals together a welter of big-name local DJs: Tomoyuki Tanaka, Towa Tei, Ko Kimura and Shinichi Osawa, to name but a few. As if that weren't enough, the organisers are also promising 'loads of special guests' – because when it comes to charity, what's the point in holding back? All proceeds will be wending their way up north, where they'll be given directly to relief agencies in Miyagi, Fukushima and Iwate prefectures.
