Torque

Fledgling Osaka label Torque continues its impressive run of parties by enlisting demigod Robert Hood, founder member of Detroit's Underground Resistance and one of the original creators of minimal techno. While some of his peers are, shall we say, a little overexposed in Tokyo, Hood doesn't come here very often, so techno fans will miss this one at their peril. He's joined at the decks by Taiwan's Technetium aka Elvis T and local heavyweight Shin Nishimura.
