Ubukoe Night

It seems like a sizable portion of the Japanese hip hop scene hails from Tohoku, and they'll be taking charge at this charity fundraiser at Le Baron de Paris on Saturday night. Sendai jazz-rap outfit Gagle (whose charity song 'Ubukoe' lends its name to the event) stop by for a short live set, with DJ turns from the group's Mitsu The Beats and Mu-R, Jazzy Sport labelmate Grooveman Spot, DMC champion turntablist DJ Kentaro and many others. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Ishinomaki-based Onepark project.
