Womb Presents New Year Countdown 2012

Josh Wink and Womb get along pretty nicely, all told. The Philadelphia dance icon born Joshua Winkelman did a five-hour set at Makuhari Messe's Womb Adventure in 2009, then returned last December to play a seven-hour marathon at Womb itself as part of the 15th anniversary celebrations for his Ovum Recordings label. He's a savvy choice for the club's New Year's Eve party, and not just because of his obvious commercial appeal: unlike many of the other international DJs hitting town for the weekend, he hasn't played in Tokyo half a dozen times already during 2011. Womb residents Aki, Sodeyama, Dr. Shingo and co. flesh out the bill.
