With its unique auditorium and adventurous booking policy, WWW has emerged as one of our favourite live venues in Tokyo this year. True to style, its New Year's Eve party is an idiosyncratic affair, which will appeal most to electronica fans who like to dance all funny. UK beatmaker Gold Panda is flying in for the occasion, joining a clutch of notable Japanese knob twiddlers including De De Mouse (in his bangin' trio with percussionists Drumrolls), Oorutaichi and Agraph, plus the consistently mind-blowing Open Reel Ensemble, who summon dancefloor grooves from old reel-to-reel tape recorders.
