Time Out says

The Jamaican dub revolution started by the likes of King Tubby and Lee 'Scratch' Perry in the 1970s didn't take long to arrive in Japan, where the country's first dub band, Mute Beat, formed in 1981. The group's trumpeter, Kodama Kazufumi, has continued to pursue a distinguished solo career since Mute Beat dissolved in 1989, and he'll be one of the guests at a night that combines Japanese dub artists past and present. Also in attendance: Masamatix, the frontman for '90s electro-dub group Audio Active; Goth-Trad, Japan's most famous dubstep export; and Kuranaka a.k.a. 1945, the guy who puts all these Zettai-Mu bass worshipper bashes together in the first place.
