Time Out says

Hit the cinema and get a second look at some historically important films. Fifty films mostly from the period between 1950 and 1970 will be shown at Toho cinemas across the country. Films to be shown include ‘The Great Escape’, ‘Singin’ in the Rain’, ‘Roman Holiday’, ‘Cinema Paradiso’, ‘The Godfather’, ‘Rainman’ and ‘The Shawshank Redemption’. More well-known films, which everyone would have at least heard of, will be shown over the next year. See famous actors and scenes be brought back to life on the big screen. In Tokyo, the festival will be held at the Toho Cinema Roppongi and the Toho Cinema Fuchu.
