Time Out says

Sitting right in the middle of Shibuya's love hotel-infested Maruyamacho, the small Cinema Vera focuses on classics and early, obscure pieces by great directors. Double features are the name of the game at this very retro theatre, which now celebrates a full decade in business with a programme designed by domestic stars like Takumi Saito, Tasuku Emoto and Yasuharu Konishi. You'll be treated to flicks from Seijun Suzuki's yakuza epos Tokyo Drifter (1966) and Kon Ichikawa's The Wanderers (1973) to Jean Renoir's musical comedy French Cancan (1954) and 1992 anime Chibi Maruko-chan: My Favorite Song.

Note that all films are shown with Japanese subtitles only.
