'David Bowie Is' Special Screening

(C) 2014 V&A MUSEUM

Transcendent pop-cultural icon David Bowie's untimely death has seen tributes pour in from all across the world (read Time Out founder Tony Elliott's here), and Shinjuku's Piccadilly cinema now honours Bowie with a week of special screenings of David Bowie Is, the 2014 documentary based around the critically acclaimed exhibition of the same name. Held at London's Victoria and Albert Museum from September 2014 to January 2015, the show spanned five decades and dove deep into Bowie's life and career, while the film itself is a curious mixture of retrospective documentary and gallery tour.
