Directors' Programme: Apichatpong Weerasethakul

Shining a spotlight on great directors both past and present, the all-nighters at Ikebukuro's Shin-Bungeiza continue with this programme dedicated to iconoclastic Thai auteur Apichatpong Weerasethakul. Winner of the 2010 Palme d'Or with Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives, the Bangkok native is never bound by the conventions of his medium. In addition to the Cannes winner, you'll get to watch sensuous, impressionistic 2007 drama Syndromes and a Century and 2016's Cemetery of Splendour.
