Time Out says

Movie buffs who couldn't make it to Tohoku for the biennial Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival last October can find out what they missed at this Tokyo sister event. The aptly titled Documentary Dream Show showcases many of the notable films from last year's YIDFF, including grand prize winner The Collaborator and His Family, with other sections focusing on up-and-coming Asian filmmakers, activism-themed films from Japan and documentaries about Cuba, among other topics. After starting at Auditorium Shibuya in August, the action shifts to Higashi-Nakano in September. Note that the majority of screenings are subtitled in English, but you'd be advised to check the Documentary Dream Show website for details about specific films.
