Future Shorts

Pithiness is a virtue in Future Shorts, the London-born touring film festival where many of the flicks clock in at under 10 minutes. The latest program includes Just Before Losing Everything (2013), French director Xavier Legrand's Oscar-nominated story about a family on the run from domestic abuse, and Life's a Bitch (2013), a five-minute expose of everything from toothpaste to squirrels, by Canadian creator François Jaros.
