Part of the ongoing, grandiosely named 'Hisashi Eguchi – King of Pop' exhibition at the Kawasaki City Museum, this five-film programme highlights flicks somehow related to the '80s manga great. Fellow comic artist and Eguchi mentor Tetsuya Chiba's Ashita no Joe 2, Yuki (1981) by Tadashi Imai, and Satoshi Kon's Perfect Blue, for which Eguchi designed the characters, are among the highlights. Take a look at the full programme here (in Japanese only), and make sure to also visit the main exhibition (more info here).
