Time Out says

Lucy Walker's Oscar-nominated short The Tsunami and the Cherry Blossom is just one of a number of powerful films that have emerged in the wake of the March 11 earthquake, documenting everything from reconstruction work to the burgeoning anti-nuclear protest movement. To mark the first anniversary of the disaster, the FCCJ is screening many of these films, including a new documentary by The Ring director Hideo Nakata; the Ken Watanabe-narrated Rebuilding Japan: Beyond the Tsunami; and Yukihiro Shoda's post-apocalyptic fiction Blind, which we wrote about last year. All screenings are free and subtitled in both Japanese and English, and many of the filmmakers themselves will be on hand for Q&A discussions afterwards; see the official website for a complete schedule. The Saturday screenings are followed by an evening of music from Tohoku (¥1,000).
