John Junkerman Programme

American John Junkerman, a long-term resident of Japan and an award-winning documentary filmmaker, marks 30 years as a director with this eight-flick retrospective that starts from the Oscar-nominated Hellfire: A Journey from Hiroshima (1986) and recounts Junkerman's career all the way up to last year's Okinawa: The Afterburn. The director himself will be giving talks on July 10 and 14 – check out the full programme and screening times here (in Japanese only, scroll to the bottom of the page for times).
