Jonas Mekas Program

One of the giants of American avant-garde filmmaking, Lithuanian living legend Jonas Mekas is the focus of this special programme featuring four of the veteran director's movies, namely the 1972 classic Reminiscences of a Journey to Lithuania, the collage-style He Stands in a Desert Counting the Seconds of His Life (1986), My Mars Bar Movie (2011), a tribute to Mekas's favourite NYC watering hole, and his latest creation Outtakes From The Life Of A Happy Man (2012).
