LGBT Film Programme

Asagaya cinema Yujiku dedicates the first two weeks of July to films themed on sexual minorities, screening Barry Jenkins's Oscar-winning coming-of-age drama Moonlight (2016) alongside four other critically acclaimed movies. See Wong Kar-wai's Happy Together (1997), Pedro Almodóvar's Bad Education (2004), Colin Firth and Julianne Moore in A Single Man (2009), and 2015 masterpiece Carol, picked as the best LGBT film of all time by the British Film Institute.
