Short Romance Films for Summer

Putting together a series of short films for an hour-long programme on summer romance, Yokohama's Brillia Shortshorts Theatre is showing Imparfait du subjectif, where boy meets girl at a party, Animal Love, a story of animal lovers coming together online, and Washed Up Love, in which love has gone missing between a long-married couple, as well as Almost, where the timing never works out for an affair, and A Whole Life, in which two young adults in Sao Paulo spend the first night of the rest of their lifetime together. With all that love in the air, perhaps you could even find yourself a summer fling here.
