Q(WE)R: In conversation with...

To encourage more discussion about the LGBTQ+ movement in Japan and address the influence of queer identities, Q(WE)R festival organisers have invited a handful of leading artists, scholars and activists to lead a dialogue on what it means to be LGBTQ+ in Japan as well as in the art industry. Among the guest speakers are Dutch cultural producer and researcher Léon Kruijswijkand, Doshisha University professor Yuka Kanno, Japanese artist Fuyuhiko Takata, and American filmmakers Jean Carlomusto and Jim Hubbard to name a few.
