Time Out says

An exhibition featuring children's clothing from the West during the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries and from Japan from the 1900s to the 1940s, 'Fashion for Children' explores how these clothes reflect adult perceptions of what children should be. It also looks at what kinds of lifestyles children in different countries had throughout the years, and highlights the stages of transition towards adulthood in various societies. About 100 paintings, illustrations, picture books and photographs tell the story of children's wear through the ages.

Note that the exhibition is closed on July 27, August 10 and 24.
