8otto/Hurricane Bells

Previously best known as the frontman for shoegazey indie rockers Longwave, Steve Schiltz suddenly found a far wider audience when a song by his side project, Hurricane Bells, was featured on the soundtrack for Twilight: New Moon. Perhaps understandably, that group has since become the New Yorker's primary concern, and he'll be bringing the poppy sounds of Hurricane Bells' 2011 Tides and Tales album to Fever this weekend, for a show with uber-cool Japanese garage rockers 8otto.
