Time Out says

The symbol-named, Grammy-nominated trio from Leeds play reverb-smothered, off-kilter indie that echoes Yeasayer and Jeff Buckley. Some find it utterly enchanting, others favour the term 'snoozefest', but whichever side of that fence you're on it's hard to deny they're a pretty big deal nowadays. They've just announced a world tour ranging from Miami to Melbourne and Madrid, with this November stop in Tokyo their only Asian gig on the trip. Fresh off the release of third album Relaxer, alt-J (∆, try it on your Mac) should be worth a look especially for friends of focused, slow-burning melodies.
