Time Out says

The pseudonym for Tokyo's own Masaaki Yoshida, Anchorsong is an up-and-coming musician who's building a formidable fanbase on the back of his highly rated, improv-heavy live shows. Long based in London, where he first landed a label deal, the sampler-and-keyboard virtuoso will now be touring Japan to promote his latest release, Ceremonial, which is due in January. With lofty recommendations from the likes of Gilles Peterson and Huw Stephens, Anchorsong can be counted on to deliver an uptempo, dynamic electronic act for a performance that's likely to excite both musos of all stripes and performance art enthusiasts.
