2012 was a vintage year for Andy Stott. The Manchester-based producer had already earned strong underground cred for his bleary, dubbed-out take on techno, but it was his Luxury Problems album – which offset the grimy rhythmic undertow with ethereal vocals contributed by Stott's former piano teacher – that finally secured him a wider audience. Catch him at a headlining show next March, where he's guaranteed to give the beefy Liquidroom sound system a good workout. Turntable maestro DJ Krush, dubby percussion outfit Flying Rhythms and electronica producer Numb support.
